Toddler Turtle Out for a Stroll

This little guy was out for a walk on a nearby sidewalk. I happened to look down just before I took another step and saw this little one, barely bigger than a quarter. He (or she) was a little shy. We were a block from the neighborhood pond so I gave him a “ride” there and let him wander off at the edge of the pond.

I found this lifeless dragonfly on a curb while out for a walk. The markings on the wings have such an amazing look. This beautiful creature also stars in this image, Dragonfly in White.
